BPCL Recruitment 2018 notification to fill 44 vacancies for the post of General Workman - B (Trainee) for male category has been released on the official website of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Kochi - bharatpetroleum.com. The application process is scheduled to start from 28th May 2018, 10:00 AM and interested and eligible candidates must apply for the relevant post on or before 11th June 2018, 5:00 PM.

• General Workman-B (Trainee)–Chemical – 30
• General Workman-B (Trainee)–Mechanical – 12
• General Workman-B (Trainee)–Instrumentation – 2
• Total Posts: 44

Eligibility Criteria:

• General Workman - B (Trainee) – Chemical – The applicant must possess 1st Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
• General Workman - B (Trainee) – Mechanical – The applicant must possess 1st Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.
• General Workman - B (Trainee) – Instrumentation - The applicant must possess 1st Class Diploma in Instrument Technology OR Instrumentation & Control OR Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.

Age Limit:

• The applicants must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 30 years as on 1st May 2018. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement.

Pay Scale:

• General Workman-B (Trainee) – Chemical – Rs.11,500 – Rs.20,000 per month
• General Workman-B (Trainee) – Mechanical – Rs.11,500 – Rs.20,000 per month
• General Workman-B (Trainee) – Instrumentation - Rs.11,500 – Rs.20,000 per month
• In addition to basic pay, the candidates will be entitled for other benefits and allowances as per BPCL norms.

Selection Process:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Written Test, Skill Test and Pre-Employment Medical Test.
