How to apply pan card online step by step
You can submit your PAN operation online through one of two gates. The NSDL portal is mainly used to fill the form. After visiting the sanctioned websites of any of these portals, you must complete one of these forms Form 49A( for Indian citizens) or Form 49AA( for non-Indian citizens)( for outsiders).
When you log in to either the NSDL or UTIITSL web portals, follow the pathway outlined below.
Apply for PAN Card through NSDL
- Visit the NSDL official website, then select the ‘Application Type’ on the next page.
- Choose the type of form 49A or 49AA
- From the drop-down select the category
- Fill in the detailed information carefully
- Choose the title such as Shri, Smt, or Kumari which will appear on card
- Fill your full name
- Choose your DOBin the format– DD/MM/YY
- Register your email-address so you do not miss any informations.
- Enter the mobile number which you are currently using
- Tick on the guidelines
- After entering the CAPTCHA code then submit the application.
- The page will then deflect you to the payment page, where you have to pay Rs. 93 for your PAN card and if you select Form 49AA then you have to pay Rs. 864
- You have various option to pay with credit/debit card, net banking
- After successfully submitting the PAN card application,you can print the acknowledgement page.
- Stick a passport-sized photograph on the acknowledgement paper, signature it with a black pen, and mail the acknowledgement receipt to the Income Tax Department. Send your residential, identity proof and other documents, within 15 days after submitting the online application.
- After your documents have been successfully verified the PAN number will be sent to your mobile number and email address.
