www.gcertgujarat.gov.in Date: 05/10/2020 From Secretary, District Education Officer, All District Primary Education Officers, All Governing Officers, All Subjects: For students of Std. 6 to 8 in the month of October  Matter of planning periodic tests.  Reference: (1) Correspondence No .: GCERT / C&E / 020 / 8-409 Dt.  01/04/2050 (2) Correspondence No .: GCERT / CNDE / 1050 / 12-9 dated 7/06/2050.  According to the above subject and context, for the purpose of assessment along with homling during period 19, periodic assessment test was conducted in July, August and September for students of Std. 6 to 8 in each medium in primary schools.  You are requested to take further action from your level in view of the following matters regarding the test to be taken in the month of October.

 Environmental tests will be taken in Std. 6 and 7 in the month of October.  Environment and Mathematics will be taken in Std. 5 while Mathematics and Social subject tests will be taken in Std. 6 to 8.  The above periodic evaluation tests dt. 

 It will be held from October 26 to 7.  Tests in hardcopy or softcopy should reach the students by 9/10/2020.  Ta.  Tests of all mediums will be made available on GCERT's website (www.gcert.gujarat.gov.in) on 8/10/2020 as well as Gujarati medium tests which can also be seen in the QR code on the textbook index of that subject. 

 The above tests are expected to be written by the student from home under the supervision of the parent at the convenience of the parent and the student.  The purpose of the test is to know the progress of the student. It is desirable that the students give the test in a fear-free and stress-free environment.  It is desirable that it should be delivered to the school through parents by 09/11/2020.  Test will be prepared keeping in view the learning outcome.  A copy of the test syllabus is attached herewith.  Secretary GCERT Gandhinagar
